BITCOIN · PROVIDER COMPARISON

Before you choose a Bitcoin mining provider

A mining offer contains several separate decisions: the equipment you own, where it runs, what you pay and who controls access to the proceeds. Compare written terms before treating a dashboard or sales estimate as the answer.

Start with the contract, not the headline

Ask which legal entity sells the equipment and which entity hosts it. Record the model, quantity, condition, serial-number evidence, purchase price and ownership documents. Find out whether your machine is individually identified or whether you are buying a different kind of contractual exposure. These arrangements are not interchangeable.

Separate the costs

Ask for equipment, delivery, installation, electricity, maintenance, management, repair and withdrawal charges separately. Confirm the billing unit, currency, tax treatment, minimum commitments and circumstances in which rates may change. A low advertised electricity figure is not the complete operating cost.

Look at what is actually running

Ask for machine-level operating records rather than relying only on a facility total. Compare the measured hashrate, power draw, downtime, repair history and pool records for the equipment you are considering. Record the time period and what is estimated. A virtual tour can show a place; it cannot by itself establish your ownership or continuous performance.

Know who receives the Bitcoin

Confirm the pool, payout arrangements, wallet ownership, withdrawal rules and access recovery. Ask which deductions occur before a payout and whether you can independently reconcile the records. Your receiving address is different from your private key: a provider does not need your recovery phrase.

Discuss the difficult scenarios

What happens during an outage, an unprofitable period, a repair, a site move or termination? Who pays transport and who can release the hardware? Request the process for selling, collecting or relocating your equipment and the dispute provisions. Read these answers before paying rather than when you need to leave.

Where the listed providers fit

Epic Mining presents equipment, hosting and a customer dashboard alongside a staged onboarding process. Hashlabs publishes hosting information. Use their own pages to identify the current offer, then request comparable written answers from each provider. Their testimonials and operational claims belong to them; they are not Ties’s client results or a guarantee of your outcome.

Bring a concrete question

If you want to discuss an offer, bring a redacted proposal and the decision you are trying to make. We can organise the comparison and identify unanswered questions as part of an agreed strategy conversation. This is not an investment recommendation, a custody service or a promise of profit. Never upload private keys or account credentials.

Compare the same operating scenario

Ask each provider to present the same machine quantity, model, period, billing assumptions and payout arrangement. Keep measured records separate from estimates, and record which costs have not been included. A comparison becomes misleading when one column assumes continuous operation and another includes downtime. Ask what happens when energy costs, network conditions or machine performance change. These questions improve the information you receive; they do not make a forecast certain.

Make verification independent of the sales conversation

Identify what you can reconcile through ownership documents, pool records and agreed machine-level reports. Ask who supplies those records, how often and what happens if they disagree with the dashboard. A testimonial describes somebody else’s experience. A referral describes how you reached the seller. Neither establishes the condition or performance of equipment assigned to you. Keep a private evidence file and have the contract reviewed where the commitment justifies it.

Understand how a referral is paid

Ask whether someone recommending a provider receives a fee, discount or other benefit and what triggers it. A commercial relationship can be disclosed clearly without replacing your own checks. Provider links on this site are resources unless a specific relationship is stated. I do not present the provider’s results as my client results or sell a return forecast. Agree what comparison work you are paying for before sharing a proposal.
