Paraguay TR: temporary residence from preparation to follow-up
Temporary residence is a process to manage, with documents, attendance and a later decision about your next category.

Know which route you are applying under
Migraciones publishes temporary residence under Law 6984/2022. Its general permission can be valid for up to two years and is renewable; other categories have their own rules. Confirm the route that applies to your nationality and circumstances before ordering documents. Family cases, minors, prior residence and special programmes can change the checklist. Do not use someone else’s successful file as your complete list.
Prepare documents in the right sequence
The official list concerns identity, civil records, criminal-record evidence and local requirements. Obtain a current checklist before paying for apostilles or translations. Ask which document must be original, which copy needs authentication, how recent the evidence must be and where translation is accepted. Resolve differences in names before travel. Minors and absent parents require particular attention; ordinary adult instructions do not cover every household.
Submission, residence and cédula are different stages
A visit to public offices, an accepted submission and a final decision are not the same event. Ask which stages require your presence and how missing evidence will be handled. The cédula process follows its own administrative requirements. Keep the filing reference, contact point and evidence of each completed stage. A short-trip offer should explain later collection, delivery and any further attendance, rather than imply that everything is finished when you board your flight.
Set up the next review before the card expires
Put the expiry and a preparation reminder in your calendar. If permanent residence is your aim, investigate its current conversion conditions early. Changes in address, identity documents or household circumstances may need action. I can help organise the preparation and agreed coordination; Migraciones decides the application and qualified professionals handle their own assignments. Your proposal should distinguish that coordination from official fees and later procedures.
