Sailing, diving, riding and discovering new places run through my personal photo archive. These moments show another side of the life behind my work.
ABOUT TIES
A wider world.
A direction of your own.
I’m Ties Jezuit, a Dutchman based in Asunción. Curious about the world, and practical about the steps that make a different life possible.

01
I want a life that feels like mine
I am Ties Jezuit. I come from the Netherlands and my main base is now Asunción, Paraguay. I work on a question that also shapes my own life: how much of the way we live have we actually chosen? The country, the job, the expectations, the money system and the routine can all feel inevitable until you step outside them. Travelling made that question real for me. There are other ways to organise a life, and I want to understand them well enough to make a deliberate choice.
I want independence, adventure and a place to build something. I want useful work I can do through the internet, time outside, good people around me and the ability to change direction. I also want an ordinary day that I enjoy. Freedom means very little if you spend every day worrying, chasing the next opportunity or performing a lifestyle for other people. For me, the point is to have more say over my time and to use it well.
This website brings those interests together. It is a place to understand how I think, explore possible countries and routes, and ask for help with a decision of your own. Paraguay is central because it is my base. It is part of a much wider interest in location, work, money, resilience and the experience of being alive.
02
Why I left the Netherlands
I did not want to treat the Netherlands as my only possible future simply because it was where I started. Taxes, regulation and the direction of European politics made me question whether the life I wanted would be easier to build somewhere else. I am concerned about the concentration of power, the normalisation of monitoring and the possibility of war affecting ordinary people. Those concerns helped move me from thinking about alternatives to exploring them.
When I say that I do not see my future there, I am talking about my own direction. My relationship with the Netherlands includes people, memories and familiarity. I can value those things and still decide to build my base elsewhere. Amsterdam and other places I know remain part of my travel interests. Leaving a country does not require erasing everything it gave you.
I wanted room for a different kind of work and a different physical life. A place with more space to explore a home, land and outdoor routines. An international outlook where I could compare arrangements rather than assume that the familiar one must be best. Leaving was a decision to take responsibility for that search. Moving does not automatically solve money, relationships or purpose; you still have to build the life after you arrive.
03
Why Paraguay, and what I want to build here
Paraguay gives me a base from which to work, meet people and explore a longer term project. In Asunción, the interesting questions are practical: which neighbourhood suits your routine, how you move around, where you feel comfortable, how you work and who you can turn to when you need help. I enjoy connecting the larger idea of relocation to those everyday details. A country becomes meaningful through the life you can actually have there.
My longer term dream includes a home with a generous veranda, room to grow food and more independent water and energy systems. I like the idea of spending time outside, building something with character and having space for people to gather. Land, a house and a community are ambitions to investigate. They are not completed facilities or accommodation I already offer.
I want roots that support movement. A stable base can make travel more enjoyable because you have somewhere to return to and work that continues between journeys. That is the kind of digital nomad life that appeals to me: portable skills and an international network, alongside a real home and relationships.
Paraguay is not a universal answer. Your family, language, work, healthcare needs and appetite for uncertainty affect whether it fits. I can help organise an exploratory visit and the questions to take to local professionals. I want you to understand the place before making a commitment, including when the conclusion is to wait or choose another country.

04
Bolivia and the road between places
Bolivia is part of my own travel story, including an overland motorcycle journey. Santa Cruz, Samaipata, Cochabamba, Sucre, Potosí, Uyuni and Oruro connect to that experience. What stays with me is the movement between places: changing landscapes, roadside stops, the practical decisions and the feeling of arriving somewhere under your own steam. The route matters as much as the destination.
That experience is one reason I want to offer Bolivia immersions and discuss motorcycle journeys with people. A shorter trip might centre on Santa Cruz and Samaipata. A longer route needs different decisions about distance, altitude, rest, vehicles and the experience of the people travelling. We should build the journey around your purpose and pace, rather than squeeze every place into a checklist.
A visit can help you understand whether a place attracts you for a holiday, a season or a possible base. Those are different questions. We can combine exploring daily life with time outdoors and practical conversations. Residency work, vehicle arrangements and independent providers are separately confirmed; the itinerary should make those responsibilities clear.

05
Islands, cities and travelling together
I also know places beyond South America where I would like to travel with people: Terceira and São Miguel in the Azores, Cyprus, Chalkidiki, Curaçao, Amsterdam and the Netherlands, and Koh Tao in Thailand. Each gives a different starting point. An island rhythm, a familiar city, a coastline, a dive course or simply enough time to explore without rushing.
Travel with me can mean help planning a route, selected days together or a longer proposed journey. Tell me what you want from it. Do you want to see how people live, spend time in nature, learn something, ride, dive or have a companion who knows the place? The answer should shape the trip before the destination becomes a fixed commitment.
My personal familiarity is a starting point for planning. Dates, accommodation, local operators and my availability still need confirmation. I want a journey with clear expectations and room for the experience itself, rather than a package full of promises that have not been arranged.
06
Diving, freediving and learning through experience
I hold a PADI Divemaster qualification from Koh Tao. Diving is one of the experiences I want to make more room for in my life and share through travel. I enjoy the whole setting: the boat, preparing equipment, time underwater and the conversations around the day. Freediving also interests me for its focus and the different relationship it creates with the water.
If you want to learn Open Water diving, we can discuss a trip around a suitable dive centre in Koh Tao or Curaçao. Sairee Cottage is one of the places you can ask about. The qualified instructor and centre teach and certify the course. My role in accompanying you or assisting professionally is agreed with the centre and depends on its requirements and my current professional status.
Becoming an instructor and eventually an MSDT is a future ambition. I do not present that ambition as a qualification I already hold. For freediving and other specialist activities, we arrange the appropriate provider. I want people to have a good experience and understand who is responsible for each part.
07
My perspective: question the direction, build options
I am a freedom seeker. I question institutions and systems that ask for obedience while giving ordinary people little influence over their direction. Governments, the EU, NATO, international financial organisations, banks and technology platforms all deserve scrutiny. My questions concern power, incentives, surveillance, taxation, censorship and how decisions made far away change the choices available to an individual.
I take concerns about digital identity, financial access and increasing dependence seriously. I do not want every part of my life to depend on one bank, one employer, one platform or one country. Bitcoin, portable work and alternative arrangements interest me because they open a conversation about control and responsibility. None of them removes the need to understand risks or maintain a workable daily life.
I am willing to explore explanations that others dismiss too quickly. I also want to distinguish what I believe, what is documented and what is a possible future. A warning should help me make a better decision. If it only leaves me angry or frightened, I need to turn it into a concrete question and an action I can explain.
For me, exiting the matrix means examining the assumptions I inherited and building more choices. It means learning, questioning, earning through useful work and reducing dependencies where it makes sense. I want to put more energy into creating a life than arguing endlessly about the system I dislike.

How I can help you
You can bring me a relocation question, a life decision, an international plan or a travel idea. We can start with a Private Strategy Session, work through several connected decisions in a written Sovereign Footprint Audit, or agree practical coordination and accompaniment. My services include Paraguay preparation, Bolivia immersions, country comparisons and travel in places I know.
I also enjoy discussing portable work: freelancing, AI-assisted services, business ideas and the practical shape of earning through the internet. The useful question is what you can deliver, who needs it and how to organise the work. A tool or a fashionable opportunity is a starting point to investigate, not a guaranteed income.
In Paraguay, a proposed visit can include neighbourhood exploration, property viewings, an SUV route, nature or a trip towards Cerro Tres Kandú. A Cessna experience or supervised range visit can be discussed with a suitable operator. Providers, eligibility, timing and separate costs are confirmed before any activity becomes part of your itinerary.
I organise questions, options and next steps. Lawyers, accountants, property professionals and qualified activity providers remain responsible for their specialist work. You should know what my fee covers, what somebody else does and what you need to decide yourself. I want a clear agreement and a result you can use.

Utopia Society and the life beyond a plan
Utopia Society is the community I want to build inside this website, alongside the client workspace. A place for discussions, useful knowledge, events and webinar resources without needing a separate Skool or Telegram group. The idea is to bring together people who are actively thinking about where and how they want to live.
I want the conversations to connect to real life: a country someone has explored, a skill they are learning, a question about work or a project they are preparing. People can share an outlook without agreeing on every political explanation. Useful disagreement and respect for privacy belong in the same community.
My wider ambition includes a physical place where people can spend time outdoors, exchange ideas and build relationships. That remains a future vision. The online community and an eventual property are separate projects with their own responsibilities and costs.
I want to keep learning, travel with purpose and build useful work from Paraguay. If your own plans connect with that, start with the question you are trying to answer. You do not need to arrive with a perfect plan or agree with everything I think. We can explore whether there is a useful next step together.

PARAGUAY / FUTURE HOME
A place to grow into.
This is the home I want to build: a generous veranda, tropical gardens and space to meet, rest and live outdoors. It is a future vision, not an existing property.
